Question "Atkins For Life"?

Hi, all!

I have the book New Diet Revolution, but just recently noticed a new one called Atkins for Life. How do the two compare?

I want to try Atkins again. The last time I gave it a whirl, I didn't feel well so I stoped and went back to the Zone. I would like to lose about 25-30 more pounds, but have stalled (since Christmas) on the Zone and feel hungry most of the time.

If anyone can give me some input on this new or newer book I would be sooooo grateful.

Thanks.

Hi there Hiz Baby,

I've just recently bought Atkins for Life. There's no actual new information in it - it seems to be pretty much aimed at maintenance living, hence the title.

It certainly makes for interesting reading, although you need DANDR for the actual instructions as to how to follow the plan.

So, if you want to begin doing Atkins again, you already have the book you need.

All the best!

Rosebud

Default Atkins for Life

Good Morning Rosebud
At least it's morning in Ontario. I was just wondering...what the
heck is DANDR? I just bought Atkins For Life myself. As you said
it's not really for those at the weight loss stages, but I found it
very comforting to realize I can keep to this plan solidly as those
years keep rolling by. Bye. Hope1

I'm doing Atkins but also bought Atkins for Life and really like it - it's also got lots of recipes if that interests you.

Also, I bought the book at Super Store (in British Columbia) for around $20.00 (their regular price) as opposed to the $36.95 price on the cover.

I started with Atkins for Life. I was researching. When I decided to start I just went on line and printed up the rules for induction and the list of acceptable foods.

for your input. I think I'll go with the book I have and start the induction. If all goes well and I decide to stay with it, then I may look at getting Atkins for Life.
