Default Cholesterol issues

Does Schwarzbein address the issue of a tendency toward high cholesterol levels in some people in her third book? I stopped following her plan religiously several years ago when my cholesterol level shot up to the point where my doctor said that he was supposed to recommend medication. Fortunately, my doctor supports me in not taking prescription medications. At that point, I stopped eating dairy products, eggs, and meat. My cholesterol level then went to the lowest point it has been since being tested. Has the doctor addressed this issue?

AnaMarie,
I don't know the answer to your question (sorry), but would like to ask you one: did you stop eating all meat or just red meat? Thanks!
