Hi, my name is Barb, I'm from Ohio and I have never been on a diet before. I was always thin & never over weight, untill my mid 30's. Now I'm early 40's, 188# & 5'6". I felt horrible with the way I look & feel, so I started the Atkins diet and started walking on the tredmill 30 minutes a day(i haven't exercised since gym class in high school).I started Atkins on 8/11/08 and have lost 4# so far.(yippie) I find it hard to get 12-15 net carbs from veggies, any advise?
I find this forum to be very helpful and insperational.
