Are the Kashi bars acceptable for phase 2? I like having something like that in my desk drawer in case of snacking emergencies.

I eat them now in phase III and I would not eat them if I am looking for weight loss......They are bit heavy on calories unless you get the ones that are 2 to a pack and eat 1 bar at 90 calories and save the other for another snack.

Its really your choice....I like them and eat 1 bar ( 1/2 of a pack)a day, but I'm not looking for weigth loss at this time.

I haven't seen them in the 2 to a pack variety. I'm still trying to lose, but I guess I can use them in a pinch instead of eating candy or bagel, muffins etc that show up on my work's weekly treat table.

Look for the Roasted Almond crunch as they come two to a pack. If you don't see them, ask the store to get it for you.
