Hi, friends.

I continue to get better with my doctor's help. My blood pressure has been way down in my last couple visits, which is cool.

Did anyone notice in Schwarzbein's new book that she says cardio should only be done for fun, but not you main workout? Interesting that things are heading in this direction. We're a heavy cardio world. Probably because it feels good.

I also noticed that she modified her soy stuff. She now says to only have fermented soy, as the Japanese do. Good to know she's keeping up on this stuff.

It's great that you have come along so quickly with your doctor's help. I have been thinking of looking for a practitioner too (it's either that or eat lots of chocolate). How did you go about finding one that you knew would be good for you? When I do a search on naturopaths in my area, there are tons of listings. Did you get lucky with finding yours or did you screen several before you chose one? I suppose finding out what kind of hormone testing they do would be a start. I don't want to have to go through a bunch of different nd's the way some people do with doctors since I anticipate this would be a very expensive undertaking.

I found my doctor through alternativemedicine.com. They have a feature that allows you to look for a practitioner. I used it to find doctors in my area. My doctor had a nice website with lots of information and when I contacted her she was very helpful, so I just decided to stick with her.
