Smile Hi from Nashville

I am starting my first day of Atkins tomorrow. I have not been very serious about my heath, but I hope to change that. I am a hard core sugar addict. Cakes, soda, pies, potatoes, pasta, cupcakes, I don't know how this will end up but I will try.

Hi, Holly. You're not alone! Congrats on making an excellent decision for your future.

Be patient. Sugar addiction is tough to get past, and the first days, weeks, or even months of low-carb eating can be a challenge. Keep reading the stories of people here, and you'll see how much commitment it takes. Also check out the Success Stories at DietDoctor.com There's a new one almost every day.

The health rewards are amazing though, and you should begin experiencing the benefits right away.

Best wishes.
