Welcome Kay, thank you to Jo, I didn't know how much a stone was, lol. Best of luck to you Kay, as you can see, there is lots of support on this forum. Basically, I always have found that one day at a time works, if I plan too far ahead and something gets in my way, I fall apart. Slow and steady wins the race .ttyl

im going to think more long term then short term i want to change my health forever

Check all the different sub-forums here for inspiration to make your LT goals. Success stories and milestones, maybe join a Buddy group, keep up with low carb news, or checking in here everyday and reading a few posts, helps to keep you focused on the LT.
