Default Atkins Diet made me stop biting my nails!

This is weird since going on Atkins diet I no longer bite my nails. Has any one had this happen. My nails are now growing long and strong. I havent been able to stop biting my nails since I was pregnant.

Smile Happened to me too!

I was a nail biter for 36 years and ever since I started low carbing about two years ago, I haven't been biting them. One, they are a lot stronger but they grow so fast and so pretty, why wreck a good thing?

ps I've been meaning to ask you something. Where was your picture taken? I have a similiar picture of me, taken in Hawaii, when I was a kid.

I only stopped bitting them for a few weeks, but then there were to tempting. Hey I can't be expected to resist both carbs and nail at the same time! I need at least one bad vice

I stopped biting mine, too!
I wasn't so much of a nail biter as a biter of the skin around them Gross, I know.

Now, instead of my skin, I eat pork rinds/skin

I was not a nail biter, but my nails were always brittle and weak and would break. Now they are so LONG! And also very strong. I was thinking about having my nails done, but then noticed that they were getting long on their own. They look terrific!!! I think it is all this good protein plus the vitamins. Another plus for Atkins

Red face no need to bite

Hi! Funny, I was just talking about this today. Since doing Atkins ,I no longer have any interest in nail biting. It happened to me once before when I stopped eating wheat and sugar. I also notice that I do not feel agitated like I was before. It would be interesting to understand the positive change. I hope someone can explain it. In any case, looks like I'll have to splurge for a manicure!!
