Default Homemade Peanut Butter

I have created a recipe for Homemade Peanut Butter that has been a big hit with those I've shared it with so I decided to put it out here for the world.

8 Oz. Dry Roasted Salted Peanuts
8 Oz. Dry Roasted Unsalted Peanuts
1/2 Cup Butter
3 Tsp. Splenda
2 Tsp. Maple Flavoring
2 Tsp. Vanilla Flavoring
1/4 cup Pistachios

I use a food processor to process the peanuts to a butter. This takes a few minutes and the first thing that happens is you have peanut flour, but if you just let it run for a bit longer it becomes peanut butter. I like to let it get pretty smooth before adding the rest of the ingredients

Then I add the Splenda, Maple and Vanilla Flavorings and the butter and let it run until that is all worked in and I have a smooth creamy peanut butter. If you like creamy smooth peanut butter you can stop there. But I like Crunchy peanut butter so I add the 1/4 cup of Pistachios and pulse the food processor until I have the desired crunchiness. It works out to about 4 carbs/tablespoon. I like to have a spoonful for desert straight from the jar. It's almost like eating a candy bar and a lot cheaper.
