Anything to make a buck, right?
While I will agree with this guy that people have been eating bread for thousands of years, the kind of bread that they've been eating bears no resemblence to what is on our local grocery store or bakery shelves today. A small amount of high quality whole grain, high-fructose-syrup free bread probably is a good addition to the diet for someone already slim, just maybe not for someone with a lot of weight to lose.
Other than that...mathematical formulas...that seems like a lot of nonsense.

Well I read it but not a lot of meat (pun inteneded) to the article!
The diet they described is atkins maintenance plus bread..ummm..if its whole grain bread..then it IS Atkins maintenance..ummm..maybe thats why he has maintained his 160 lb for years...hes eating atkins maintenance..hello?? anyone home??
What I thought was funny was the guy is basing THE CODE DIET on the fact that he read about fibronachi numbers and the golden ratio in THE DA VINCI CODE book. Duh! I learned about that stuff in junior high. Nothing new about that. Applying it to diet is a real stretch of the imagination. And the guy is a baker.
I love how the BAKER has determined that of his magic 52-28-20 numbers, 52% is the carb number, not that 20% is the carb number. Flip them, make 20% the carb number, 28% protein & 52% fats, and you are probably looking at an average Atkins/low-carb maintenance diet ratio.
