Default Heavy cream at Starbucks/Gloria Jeans etc?

Hi guys,

I keep reading in other threads that in the USA the lower carb option (other than black tea like I usually have) is to ask for an espresso coffee in a mug with heavy cream. Apparently they all have it.

To save me potential confusion when asking, does anyone know if these coffee chains in Australia have the same thing? My fav is Coffee Club, but I doubt they would.

I usually order a long black with cream on the side. They are always happy to provide it. They will give you cream in the coffee, but I always feel it's safest on the side, because just occasionally it is rather obviously sweetened.

A vienna coffee is a long black with whipped cream on top. But of course no way to know in advance (short of asking) whether the cream has been sweetened

I have seen these on the menu but was not sure what I would get and of course how it would taste!
I treat myself to a weak skim latte at the weekend and have long blacks the rest of the time, decaf of course as I'm caffine sensitive!
