Default Fluffy vs packet Splenda...which?

Hello Karen
In your "Low Carb Gourmet Cookbook", how do we know when you mean the light fluffy loose Splenda or the Splenda in packets.
For example on Page 276 the No-Bake Vancouver Cheesecake says 1½ each Splenda and Canadian Sugar Twin OR 2 Tbsp Splenda. I presume the larger amount refers to fluffy?
I find that the light fluffy Splenda really does not sweeten. I often add three times the amount called for, and it still is not sweet.

It's the "fluffy" or spoonable kind. Else it would say packets. Also, the cookbook says a lot about mixing sweeteners to get a better sweetness...

Keep in mind that everybody's sweet tastebuds vary; and get more sensitive with time away from sugars, too.

Enjoy.

At the beginning of the dessert chapter - page 253 - there's an explanation of which type to use and a whole lot more on artificial sweeteners. There's also a conversion table for packets.

Many thanks Karen. I'm still experimenting.
