Hello everyone,

ican4Him, I probably missed you but I hope you are able to stay on plan and end up having a great time.

I had to take one of our cars into the glass shop to get the window replaced yesterday. I grabbed Tango, my daughters dog, and headed out the door for my appointment. I expected her to pick him up while she was at lunch but I never heard from her.

I placed a call to my daughter and left her a message as I headed towards her work. I stopped into AAA to get some maps & books and ended up having too much to carry. I had to carry Tango and not long after we started walking he felt like twenty five pounds instead of ten.

I ended up catching a ride when I was almost at my daughters work and then the lady offered to give me a ride back to the glass shop. I had her drop me off at K Mart instead and then I did some shopping. I ended up getting a couple of items and then walked over to Walmart. When I was ready to go and pick up my car I decided I did not want to carry any more packages so I left my shopping cart and hoped everything would still be in it when I returned.

My car wasn't ready when I got to the shop so I ended up waiting another half an hour. The windshield looked great when I got into the car and drove over to Walmart to finish my shopping.

My son moved out several months ago and is having a hard time budgeting rent and groceries. I decided to shop for some food for him and then I dropped it off at his house. He was rather pleased to receive his care package and had some of his friends help him take all the bags up to his apartment.

I drove to my daughters work and picked up Tango so he didn't have to wait for her to finish work before he could come home.

My husband took my car into work with him and put some new tires from Costco on it for me. We are taking the motorhome on our trip but we are also taking a car so we can get around easier.

I called my sister and told her to make a list of foods she wanted to bring. She surprised me by telling me she was going to try and eat like I do. I hope CALP works as well for her as it does for me.

Hello everyone,

I don't know why I make plans when I usually end up changing them most of the time. My sister called me this morning and told me she could get us a room with a full kitchen cheaper than it would cost me to put gas in the motorhome. I told her to book us a room and now we will only be taking a car.

I am glad that I have been too busy to wipe everything down in the motorhome because now I don't feel as if I wasted any time.

Hi Everyone, I'm back from camping. We had a wonderful time. The weather was beautiful and we were able to get our favorite spot. The kids caught lots of fish. I was able to stay on plan, Woohoo! In fact I have only had a couple pieces of string cheese today, and I am not hungry so I am going to bypass eating. That is so very weird for me! I walked lots - average 2 miles a day; which for me that is lots. The only thing I wasn't good about was drinking lots of water, I was afraid of having to find the outhouse in the middle of the night. I even had a smore and a roasted marshmallow - I just love the freedom of this program.

Hi Teri - I hope you have a wonderful time on your vacation too! It is great that you have a sister to share your time with. I bet she will like this new WOE. It will be easier to stay on plan since she is doing it too!

Hi Eno - How was the lake house? Did you enjoy your salmon? We have a friend that loves to fish for salmon but doesn't enjoy eating it, so he blesses us with it quite often. Yum!

Pattygirl - how are you doing?

Have a great week everyone!

I am so excited, I got on the scales this morning and I am down 4 pounds. I hoped to maintain while camping and didn't really expect to lose. I still haven't gotten it through my head that I can eat smores, etc while staying on plan and actually lose weight. I am in the 80's instead of 90's now, I always get so excited when I drop into the next set of 10's. I am 7 percent closer to my goal!

Hi Eno! It sounds like you had a wonderful time at the lake!

We are having record high heat this week, it is supposed to be 104 today and 105 tomorrow. My husband and two sons have a landscape business and they have to maintain 97 yards tomorrow. I feel really bad for them.

Where is everyone else at? This is a small group, I miss you guys!

I was down another pound today. I am praising the Lord that the weight is finally coming off!

Yesterday
CM - cucumbers and cottage cheese
RM - fresh trout, beans, green beans, macaroni and potato salad, green salad, watermelon

We had our friends over for dinner who visited us camping to help eat the fish we caught. We also had leftover camp food, so there was a large variety, I did only have small portions of all that food.
