Quite a number of our US and Canadians members attend a programme called Curves. Up until now it seems to have been something that's only available on their side of the pond.

However, Curves (Fitness and Weight Loss Centres) now seems to have arrived here in the UK.

I was handed a leaflet about one in my area when I was out shopping this afternoon, and I'm going along on Wednesday to find out just what it's all about. I'm intrigued as they say you do the equivalent of a one and a half hour workout in just 30 minutes.

Anyway, thought I'd just flag this here in case anyone else is interested - and I would be interested to know if anyone has come across Curves in their area.

I saw an advert for one coming to Beckenham soon. A bit far for me to investigate. Mind you, I'm quite happy with my gym.

I do go to CURVES here in San Diego California! LOVE IT! I cannot tell you how much fun it is and how quickly your body starts to change! I have done them all and I will never go anywhere but Curves again!

I use to do curves when I lived in the states, moved here almost a year ago and back in march found one here (farnborough in the southeast of england), since then the owner of that one has opened another one in yately, also in the southeast of england, and plans to open another end of next year (not sure on location yet). So there are some out there and it's a wonderful program, infact i'm logging off the PC in about 10 minutes to head over there ). It's nice because they weigh you AND measure you once a month, so you can see that sometimes even though you are losing fat and inches you may not be seeing the numbers drop on your scale. Always nice to go in and see a loss of 4 inches even if the weight hasnt changed.

wow this is just what I am looking for.......only 30mins workout too!! I will find out if there is anything in my area, cheers for that....I have lost loads since LC'ing and have saggy bits now that need toning!!
