I just got a new prescription of my medicine today. The script was $30 more AND the pills are bigger!! What is up? does that mean more fillers? Anyone else noticed?

I also take Armour, not sure about the fillers though it's my understanding that it's dessicated pig thyroid and more natural than Synthroid. Sooooo I dunno!

I would contact the pharmacy to ask about this. Perhaps they've purchased their stock from a different manufacturer than before. Or maybe they substituted a generic brand.

I take Armour thyroid, and they're the tiniest little pills you can imagine. I'd definitely ask.

When I checked after I got home, they are the same size. Don't know why they looked bigger....but they are sure hard as a rock....but the price has risen sooooo much! It used to be cheap. For a three month prescription, it was $120!!! Last time it was $89!!! It was less before that too....

Soooo Armour is now owned by Allergan.

Maybe that is why it went up.

Below is a link to Consummer Affairs. I have been having problems with my weight this year....had been losing a little at the end of last year....low and behold...I am not the only one....ugg...
