yeh my doc told me hardly anything about it neither, just as well that i found this site cz its taught me more then doc has
im on metformin think it is the same as glucophage it was nasty the few 1st weeks, had to adjust. stomach cramps, feelin sick lost apetite at one point so had to stop the heathly eatin to eat any thing i could so i didnt make myslef ill, havent yet taken that back up yet, but hav noticed a little bit of a weight loss. i personaly dont think that a healthy low carb diet helps with the losin weight i think its all down to the exercise. however low carbs will help the PCOS its self and will lower the risk of developin diabetes later on. my GYN explained it to me that when you eat carbs ur body thinks of it as a free meal and doesnt break it down cause its mainly glucose and thats something to do with bein insulin resisitant cz ur body mite not be able to keep up with producin insulin to meet the demands, but im not sure how accurate i have that
wat do u mean in the same posistion as u? u mean about not bein givin much info?
