Woo hoooo - end of January challenge!

... and here's how I did:

My challenge goals:
Goal weight: 195
Start weight: 203
2 week induction
Exercise Goals: 7x/wk, yoga, pilates, gym session, weight training, walking daily
100 oz water daily.

My challenge stats:

Week 1:
- didn't take part due to illness

Week 2:
- 7lbs loss
- 1st week of induction
- Exercise 7 of 7
- 7 of 100+ oz water

Week 3:
- 3lbs loss
- 2nd week of induction
- Exercise 10 of 7 - doubled up on several days
- 7 of 100+ oz water

Week 4:
- weight stayed the same
- Exercise 9 of 7 - doubled up on several days
- 7 of 100+ oz water

So, I lost 10lbs, which takes me to 193 and means that I made my weight goal, plus an extra 2lbs (a bit disappointed though that I didn't lose anything this week ).

... definitely include me in the next challenge This one has really helped to keep me on the straight and narrow
Anyone want to join me for a February challenge??
Hey! I was hoping you'd say that! count me in!

Well, I managed to get the two pounds off that I'd gained and I think it was due to the fact, I finally started aerobic exercise/dancing in the evening as well as my morning toning/stretching.

I didn't lose 15 but I did incorporate some good habits for a change!

I have no problem drinking my water 80 to 96 oz. per day.

My birthday is March 5th so I really need this challenge!

I'm only doing a few things differently.

1. I will continue to do my morning toning/stretching daily, and aerobic/dancing 4x's weekly.

2. I will continue to not eat after 6.

3. I will weigh myself on Monday mornings.

4. On the weekend, I will allow myself to have one treat if I've been a good girl all week.

5. I will try and keep my carbs around 30 and calories around 1400.

Ok, it's 5 am here and I'm off to work.
Everyone have a great day and congrats to all who've reached their goals!

Well, I slacked this weekend and did nothing. I did manage to eat healthy though. I did do yoga this morning to end out my challenge on a good note. I still weight 172 and I'm very happy about my loss this month.
Hugs, Angel

Up and down, up and down here

I was having a REALLY good week eating wise then comes my best friend with PIZZA, my favorite from Pizza hut and it was calling my name! Screwed me up royally for the weekend! I only cheated the one night but I am up 2lbs and am HATING myself for cracking!!!

Not so hot on the exercise either...in fact I did HORRIBLE this past week other than the eating and I still managed to gain 2 lbs and did even have a good time like Becki did!!!!

Ugggggg........

Me too -- me too. I tried to make sure I got an hour of exercise nearly every day on vacation -- and really DID NOT cheat (much!) -- a nibble of a hush puppy here, a few crackers there -- but I didn't lose anything in January. Back in the Saddle -- for real. Start me again: 178 this morning. UGH.

Leaving again for vacation on 2/17...

Ruth

Oh, can I add one more thing to my challenge? I will try to lose 10lbs. this month.

And my starting weight today is 230. Had went up to 232. I'm getting addicted to exercise, so that's a good thing!

did my exercises this morning. I ate a little heavily at dinner but I'm going to dance it off.

I wasn't able to get all my water in today either. (only did 48oz so far).
