Then you should know that its not only gorging on fatty foods that is a problem.
On SBD, we learn about good fats and good carbs.
What do you gorge on that you want to stop?

OK, thats a good start as sweets have a lot of sugar. If you gorge yourself on sweets, its not fatty food.
I'm trying to understand what you consider to be "fatty food" as you said.

This is also why its important for you to not eat foods that contain any added sugars(oatmeal squares). It will help you to not revert back to eating sweets.

OK, lets look at these so that you know what it is about these foods that makes you overeat them.

Fish sticks are coated with bread crumbs, right?
Would you still overeat them if they were not coated in bread?
Last time I looked, fish sticks are not a fatty food.

Mac and cheese, the ole stand by "comfort food". Its the white flour from grain as in white highly refined wheat flour that gets you to over eat this comfort food.
I was a white flour addict, still am, and I steer clear of it now!!

This is what is explained in the book, thats why I asked if you had read it.

I get the feeling that you'd like to connect with others here more personally? I suggest that you post more to your journal, read other's journals and pop in to say Hi to others that you feel you have things in common with.
