Talking Cholesterol - Yippie!

I just received the results from my blood test regarding my cholesterol. There is definately something to this whole thing, I believed and yet I was still skeptic. But the numbers arent wrong and this is good new in an otherwise bad day.

When I started LCing in May my stats were:

Total Chol 276
Bad Chol 205
Good Chol 45
Triglycerides 131

As of 9/4/01 this is what my stats are now:

Total Chol 184
Bad Chol 133
Good Chol 40
Triglycerides 54

So woo hoo LCing is the right place for me to be. I had to share I was so excited, my doctor wanted me to be on cholesterol medicine if I couldnt bring it down on my own since I am genetically disposed to having a higher rate.

Yippie

My second round of complete blood work... I have been LC for 10 months now and the response from my doctor was simple. He said I have never seen you healthier since I've known you.

People I have started on this WOL have stopped because they said it was a diet that made them feel ill. Hmmm ill, is it the diet - in my case definately not. I love this WOL and if keeps me healthy why should I ever stop!
