I guess we all need to learn about ourselves and what we're good at and what we're not-so-good at. If falling off the wagon and getting back on again works for you, then count yourself lucky.

You did mention something about "living life" and somehow eating low carb isn't compatible with "living life". I've gotta say that I disagree. I guess it depends on how you define "living life". Sometimes we have to redefine that from time to time. If I were a heroine addict, "living life" might include shooting up. Maybe I'd be better off rewriting that script.

Nancy - Yep Im pretty driven - I can get back on the wagon with no problem.

I was actually waiting for someone to say something like that but in fact you have taken what I am saying in a different light. I was actually referring to living life in that I will be going to festival.. Not staying at home .. I never said at any point that living low carb is "somehow not compatible with living life"...

So I am afraid you got your wires crossed there. Obviously if I felt I wasnt living my life doing Low carb.. I wouldnt ever do it in the first place....

I find need a little time off LC every once in awhile just to kind of "reset" my system. Sometimes I get so the thought of low carb foods makes me nauseous so I allow myself an afternoon off. But but then I must face he "fourth day blues" of getting back into ketosis after my afternoon off. For me this is necessary.
