Honestly this WAO is the only way my body will lose weight. In all honesty I really wish there was a pasta diet, but that's just my addiction to carbs speaking. As hard as it is for me to eat low carb (not a big meat or egg fan), the benefits far outweigh the health and weight issues that come from eating to many carbs.

I am a lifetime member (evidentially FAILED) of weight watcher which is a wonderful plan if you can follow it. Unfortunately after about the age of 40 it just didn't work for me. While struggling with it yet again after gaining the weight back I was doing research on meal supplements etc... for my (then) newly diagnosed diabetic husband. The Atkins products were by far the best with respect to sugars, total carbs, protein etc.... I sent off for the freebie sampler pack/info and was hooked by the info they sent. Reading about low carb just clicked with me! WW no longer worked as I couldn't get past the cravings. I jumped in and within 2 days the cravings were gone as well as a lot of gastrointestinal distress that I had been chalking up to veggies. Turns out it is almost entirely related to wheat. Who knew? Looks like the good Dr. A did!
