Here is a butter chicken recipe from The Foundation Diet:

Butter Chicken

Ingredients:
2 pounds chicken breast, cut into wide strips
1 stick butter
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tsp chopped ginger
3 tsp Garam masala
1 tsp chili powder
2 bay leaves
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 cup heavy cream

Directions:
Melt butter in large frying pan over medium high heat. Add chicken and brown. Mix in garlic, ginger, and spices. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 20 more minutes, stirring often. Garnish with parsley.

I have had this several times and really like it. I often make extra and freeze it so that I can reheat whenever i have a taste for it.

I made this for dinner tonight and served it over brocolli, it was to DIE for (might have the heartattack to prove it!!). Heart failure or not, it was well worth it! I recommend it wholeheartedly

I just made the original BC recipe on this thread and it was truely lovely. The only thing I found was that the sauce was thick and only enough for 2 (large) portions, perhaps because I used chicken breasts and there was any liquid from cooking these to add to the sauce.

I've just made the original recipe and it was fabulous, and I am very domestically challenged. omitted the cloves and cardamon, because I didn't have any in (although substituted Gm which had both in) and added some onions. I cooked the chicken thighs in their skins and bones, and had it over fine beans, t'was lovely.
