Default Snack Blowing the Whole Day's Work

I am posting this here because I am getting so discouraged!! I have never been on a real diet before and never on Atkins before, so I don't think I've missed my "first time golden opportunity". That said, I have been struggling through this new WOE for 4 weeks now and still have not lost ONE POUND!!! I thought my measurements had changed a little, but when I checked they had not. I am sticking strictly to induction and manage to do well all day until about 9-10 PM when I just HAVE to have some kind of crunchy snack! This has always been my worst part of the day and I AM able to resist the toast, crackers, etc. that I used to snack on...now I have a handful of nuts or sunflower seeds that I KNOW are not allowed during Induction. How can I get passed this block!! What can I eat during that time that is "legal" (please don't say celery..I am turning into a celery). I am NOT really hungry, this is just habit! PLEASE HELP before I give up!!!!

katlynweb, have you tried pork rinds. They are a life saver for me, when I really want something crunchy. They are salty, so drink extra water. Have you tried the Just the cheese snacks? They are a crispy baked cheese. I buy them through the Atkins site. (I have tried making my own but they weren't as crisp. ) Just keep trying new ideas. If you come up with anything really good, share it with us.

I have pork rinds (which I can't stand the smell of) but didn't think they were allowed on Induction (same for any of the other "special treats".

Default Look at what else is going on

I used to think all my non-hunger eating was "habit" but now I'm seeing more and more that it's something going on in my body--most likely not enough fat at the previous meal, or one of the fake sweeteners, or hidden carbs. Low blood sugar will make me insane to get more food in me. It just LOOKED like habit because it happened all the time.

Can you eat dinner later, or eat more at dinner?

I am in a quandry, I have been in induction for a week now. Here's the good stuff, No more sugar cravings it even seems disgusting to me to think how much I used to count
on the sweets. No more hunger period, I am forcing myself to eat. No more gas, indigestion, mood swings. I have had fun discovering things to eat and I think I am doing just fine.
I am wondering (and I am eating my veggies) why no B.M. I have not had one all week. Now I know this is rather a personal topic but. I do hope that you can look at this as a
technical question related to diet. (I maybe the only one weird about asking). I am usually a regular everyday gal..hehe wow I get weird. But I am needing to know. OK I drink
lots of water and am still so thirsty all the time. Will the trips to the bathroom ever stop. That's it..I feel better, my face feels lighter, I am so determined and cannot fail at this so
Thanks to everyone for all your support. I am looking for an e-mail buddy for one on one support. That would be great !!

Take this to the list as a direct question, you'll get better replies if it's not hidden under some other unrelated topic.

That said, more fiber. Hard to get enough fiber on induction levels, esp. after coming off high carbs. I take fiber tablets myself; others use psillium husks. Check carb content of the fiber, though.

Other suggestion--very high Vitamin C dosing will clear you out. Depends on how much you take regularly, but try a LOT more, and take a few more tablets every hour or so until you get results. It will be a one-time event.
