My stats: 2192 days, 10 hours, 8 minutes and 3 seconds smoke free. 87697 cigarettes not smoked. £20,473.28 and 22 months, 9 days, 21 hours of your life saved.
Congats to all you other quitters here; everyone is doing really well
I'd also like to say good luck to those of you who are quitting today, and to remember that if I can do it, then so can you!
Congrats everyone! I am coping with dbf quitting smoking this weekend. Holy Cow the withdrawal symptoms - it's like me on super pms! Took me back to this summer when I had the screamin' meamies for 10 days! Whew! The odd thing is that I've been thinking about cigs lately. Won't go there but, man!
You've been free of cigarettes for 195 days, 20 hours, 53 minutes & 4 seconds. You have not smoked 5,876 cigarettes since then, and you have saved a total of $1,366.20.
The odd thing is that I've been thinking about cigs lately. Won't go there but, man!
I know what you mean...it's been over 3 years since I quit and I was surprised a couple of times over the holidays with some triggers. Wasn't really tempted, but given that I hardly ever think about smoking anymore, it can catch you a little off guard to suddenly find yourself thinking about it.
Yesterday was 6 months smoke free for me. I smoked for 17 years and was up to almost 3 packs a day. I didn't even really plan to quit. I just woke up one morning...oddly enough after 3 days of doing low carb... and felt so good that I decided that that was the day...August 1, 2008. Best thing I ever did. If I would fight for my weight loss as hard as I fought to quit smoking...I could move on to my next demon, lol. Gained 21 lbs after I quit smoking...that sucks, but I know what I gotta do! Wishing those of you that are ready to fight for it...because that's what it takes...the best of luck.
Today is Day 1 for me, after 25 years of smoking 1 pack a day. I've been taking Chantix for the last couple of weeks, and had given myself a goal of no more cigerattes at the end of those two weeks. But, I have managed to stop 2 days earlier, woo hoo.
I also thought it would be a date I could always remember.
Congratulations to you all, you give me inspiration and faith that this will be my last time quitting.
