Oh, that's great! Thank you. It's not super expensive, either.

You're welcome.

Have you used essential oils before? I haven't but they look interesting.

I've used essential oils, but not food grade ones which are apparently much more potent. I've put them in lotion and bath water. Now I want to buy more!

If you do buy from that company (Faerie's Finest), can you let me know what you think of them? They have a lot of interesting products and they're shipping isn't expensive.

The muffin pan idea is good, btw.

Faerie's Finest makes some awesome extracts! Very tasty and priced nicely. I recommend their caramel (SO GOOD), peppermint, and coffee extracts. Going to try more soon...

With the Faeries Finest, how much extract do you use in a recipe? 2oz bottle size seems really small, but if it only takes a drop or two, then I suppose it isn't too bad. Also does it come with a dropper?

It does not come with a dropper which makes pouring it annoying. I just use the same amount as however much vanilla is called for in the recipe. I made mint chocolate brownies with 1 tsp and they were subtly flavored.

I just put mine in the oven...made it with Davinci SF Carmel syrup. All I can say so far is the batter was heavly!! Taking it to my mom's tomorrow for Thanksgiving and will report back the critiques.

After holding off for 10 months, I finally broke down and made Bawdy's Cheesecake. IT IS DELICIOUS!!! I added a cup of pumpkin and melted some baker's chocolate, a little butter and a couple drops of liquid splenda and poured that over the top. I took it to my Mom's, then acted like a spoilt brat whenever anybody wanted a piece of it. Oh well, I'll act my age at Christmas, maybe.

Damn I just stuck this in the oven but realized that I didn't add the eggs.

Anyone know of any adjustments in cooking time I"ll need to make?

Just a quick note to say I just tried this cheesecake and it's fantastic!

Made it for Fourth of July celebrations with the family and added a thin layer of whipped cream (mixed with a tiny bit of cream cheese and white chocolate da vinci's) and covered in blueberries and strawberries to make an American Flag. It was a big hit! The four non-lowcarbing family members loved it just as much as the four lowcarbing members!

GeeWee made it earlier this month. Why do you ask? I make a lot of recipes I've found on the board here, but don't post every time I make one.
