Default Calories on CALP?

Hello, I am new to CAD/CALP and don't have a book yet, so heres my question. Do calories matter at all? I'm not trying to watch my calories, but the last 2 days have been under 1000, today is going to be under 800, because I didn't get breakfast. I'm am simply not hungry and if I'm not sapposed to add a bunch of fat, just cook the way I preffer, I just get the fat thats in the meat.

Is this a problem? Some carry on about to low calories, yet some say they can't loose unless extremely low calorie. Am I to eat more, add more fat, or not to worry about it?

Thanks

I'm on CAD, not CALP, so I'm not sure...but...I don't count a darn thing. Not calories, fat, or carbs. I just eat one or two complementary meals (protein and the lowest carb veggies) and one reward meal. That's one of the things I like best about this plan..that I don't have to weigh, measure and count count count! It will be interesting to see what the others say, though, especially if they are specifically on CALP.

At the moment I'm not sure whick one I'm on, since I don't have a book. For the most part there alike. I've read some of the differences, I do like the planning the RM meal and keeping it 1/3s.

I am a calorie and carb counter, to many years of counting. Don't see me changing today.

I will get a or maybe both books, maybe someone could explain the main diff. and possibly help make the decision?
