DH and I were all set to celebrate at Casa Mia here in the Falls (classy Italian) and I was looking forward to a nice juicy steak but we're snowed in!!! Oh well, had beef pattie topped with blue cheese, small piece of 99% chocolate, and mint tea instead....

We stayed in as well since it was yucky weather here. I made a prime rib roast, creamed spinach and fresh green beans. Then we had lemon whipped cream for dessert and many little russell stover treats throughout the day.

Was pleased this morning to be the same weight and still in dark ketosis, those treats scare me!

I stayed home with my youngest son and had 3 chicken wings, a small cube steak, and a veggie mix. No hearts or chocolate for me as there is no SO in my life right now : (

Hugs hon,

This year be your own very best valentine and treat yourself special everyday. Being a single mom is the hardest job ever so you need to love yourself extra strong.

My poor Valentine had to work late, so I went out with friends after work. I had smothered chicken, with green and yellow string beans + carrots with butter on the side. It was to die for! If you've never heard of smothered chicken, it's basically a chicken breast baked with mushrooms, peppers, and cheese.

On Saturday, SO is taking me out to the Thai restaurant..

It's just my daughter and me, and since we were snowed in anyway, I just made parmesan chicken (with grean beans and bread for her). For lunch, she and I spread out a blanket on the floor and had a "picnic"... All in all, it worked out, really, because there's no one I would have rather spent the day with.

My poor Valentine came home from work early to go to docs (shock believe me), he has infections in both ears and didn't feel up to much last nite although he managed to eat his steak lol.. we snuggled up on the couch and watched a one off drama called "greenfingers" with clive owen in it, so worked out pretty good for me
