Default I need a goal

Can I play?

My short-term goal is to do 10 pushups. Real ones. On my toes. Maybe my next goal will be to clap between reps.

I have no idea how long it will take ... I'm pushing around a lot of weight (meaning me). Right now I can do exactly one with perfect form.

Anyone know how long it takes to crank out a set of 10? I'm currently doing a 4-day split and getting stronger but I don't lift heavy weights (mostly because I haven't found a gym yet). Nervertheless, I find that I can completely exhaust my moosles with 10-lb dumbbells by varying the reps/sets. For now.

badger, my only experience in getting better at them is to do them. Your strength in other pushing exercises will go up as well if you incorporate these into your routine, bodyweight exercises are some of the best. I used to do them as warm ups for my workouts and now I can easily do 3-4 sets of 8-10 pushups. Try doing 1-2 sets as a warmup and just do as many as you can do each week, even if it is only 1.

I think I'll play too.

I wanna be able to do

1.) 2 unassisted pullups by the end of October

2.) 2-3 squats at 135 lbs.

Guess I'd better get cracking!!!!!
