I think I'm going to get back to this WOE as well, but not until the beginning of September. We are about to go on holidays, so there's no way I can realistically try to get back on track to try to re-lose the weight I gained plus some.

I'll come back to this thread when I return.

Hi, count me in. I'm buying eggs and sausage for the next 9 meals. I need to get into ketosis. I may have HB eggs for snacks if I can get to grocery store on a Saturday. Ugh

Momma's doing HCG (? spelling?)

Help!

so I have been stalled on Aktins for the past 3 weeks, but I wasnt a saint. I was eating a little more dairy than I should and a bar here and there. So I switched to meat and eggs 3 days ago, but the scale hasn't moved. I'm so upset. I'm working this so hard and I expected to see a whoosh by now.
Typical menu:

morning: 2 eggs / 2 sausage or small steak
lunch: chicken or steak
snack: some kind of meat
dinner: chicken or steak
I'm avg about 1600-1700 cal per day - is it the calories that is causing the problem?

The only thing I see that it could be is the sausage. Did you check the label on it. They sneak sugars and flours into everything now.

What are you dipping or smothering on those meats? Melted butter, real mayo I don't see any fats? You need fats.

I'm going to try meat and eggs for a while. I get full so fast on that. I was feeling so hungry while I was frying up a burger, that I threw another one in the pan, so it would be ready for me once I finished my first one. Nope, I was surprisingly full. What is it about carbs, that I can eat and eat and eat. Give me a bag of chips and I feel like I can easily eat half the bag.

O.k. I started yesterday. I had 3 cups of coffee with about 100 calories each of half & half, which is 3 carbs for each cup. I know I should probably switch to heavy cream, but I have a lot of half and half and don't want it to go to waste.

For dinner I had 1 1/2 burgers with mustard and a small can of spinach.

I was busy and didn't have a lot of time to eat yesterday, so I didn't get to eat until dinner time.
