I just tried these bars with almond butter and instead of Davinci's vanilla, I used amaretto-flavored syrup. YUM!

Costco has a most excellent deal on almond butter--26 ounces for $5.75!

(this may be more than peanut butter, but we can't use peanut butter at our house due to allergy issues.)
