Default Breaking a fast

Hello, everyone! I used to belong to this group several years ago...had GREAT success with Atkins and then life got in the way.....I am back with a TON of weight to lose and I know this will work.

Question: (and it might sound stupid so don't laugh)

Does drinking BPC in the morning as my breakfast, break a fast? The first time I "chew" is at lunch.

Thanks for the support!

Depends on who you ask. Many say only water, or water, tea, coffee or bouillon, but Dr. Fung allows 1T total of CO/butter in coffee if that is what it takes to keep you on track (and also water, tea, coffee, bouillon). The rationale is that pure fat does not raise insulin.

I don't chew until ~noon too, but need only 1 tsp of butter in my coffee to keep me full until then.
