Default To My Body: You Are Sore Today Because...

Time to start my journal. I work out almost everyday but you wouldn't know it because I never write it down!

Yesterday (since I'm here)
Multi-Circuit at the gym (a painful hour of 1 minute sets of awful exercises like stair, the bike, squats, and lunges). I think that is what inspired the title...

Today:
1 hour walk
45 minutes power yoga
And it's only 5:30!

Right now I am trying to do some kind of movement twice a day. Even if that is only a 15 minute walk around the block, I still want to get at least get moving twice a day. Today: check!

Ok -It's Wednesday today and absolutely shocking outside. The rain is going sideways and the wind is nuts. BUT- I got to the gym anyways!

-1 hour multi-circuit craziness. I can barely type my arms are so sore. I think I'll skip yoga tonight, and maybe do some leg exercises instead.
-30 minute cardio in the evening.

Movement twice today. That's two days in a row!

Another day of double movement [pat on back]!

30 minutes walk this morning
45 minutes power yoga in the evening.

I am definitely feeling a difference in my body. Besides the soreness that it is! I have always worked out a lot, but doing the extra yoga feels like I am strengthening my body a lot more. Rather than just increasing cardio. Plus I am feeling longer. Sounds funny, but true. And at 5'3" I need all the help I can get!

45 minute walk this morning.
20 minute walk this afternoon.

Does it matter that my morning walk was to buy new shoes? Then to get spray tanned? Then to more shops? No way! I was still walkin' right!

1 hour Multi Circuit at the gym, plus a 10 minute walk there and back.

I head to Sydney on a plane tonight, so no double day for me today or tomorrow, but I'll be back on track on Friday.

LOL Kiwi, that's right. I rested for 3 whole days! I didn't do anything but get up and down off the couch. It was a well deserved break.

Back on tomorrow. Here is my hopeful workout regime for the weeks to come:
Monday - morn multi circuit, eve - walk
Tuesday - eve - spinning
Wednesday - morn - multi circuit, eve- walk
Thursday - morn - multi circuit, eve - yoga
Friday - morn - multi circuit, eve - walk/yoga
Saturday - walk
Sunday - rest

And are you seeing really cool changes in your body...hope you're taking measurements to track your progress!
Every week i launch for the tape measure...just in case...but not much is a 'happening! Something needs to shake, rattle and roll my body out of this permanent stall!!
I'm trying the old carb cycling at the moment..and am almost too frightened to step on the scales in the morning!!
will there be victory at the end of it???? please, please, please!!

Kiwi- measurements are a great idea. I've just been too lazy to get it out. I need to though, with as much energy as I am putting into working out. Tomorrow I hop on the scale so perhaps I'll do my measurements then as well.... then I can really see some number changes.

Monday - morning: 45 minutes power yoga
- evening: 40 minute walk
