Default New again -- Immunotherapy

Really interesting story about how using immunotherapy for cancer is a really old idea, just ignored by medicine until recently.

Yeah, I heard that on the radio when I was out driving around and found it fascinating, except that the article stopped right when it got to the most interesting part! Also wish they had gone into a little more detail about Jimmy Carter's therapy.

I think we are in a situation like vitamin D; if they admit vitamin D is super important, they are on the hook for telling the populace to cover themselves with sunscreen.

Likewise, if they "discover" a cancer treatment that shows they should have been pursuing this alternative all along, then all the people who had difficult or unsuccessful treatment will feel rightly angry.

Not to mention the huge sums of money that the pharmaceutical and cancer research groups have made.

Its the same with the "low fat" heart issues. Can you imagine how stupid the government and experts would look, not to mention the compensation claims, if it came out that saturated fat wasnt the demon afterall???

It sounded like there was a book if you listened to the same radio show I did. I'd like to read up on that doctor. So fascinating!
