I'm one of those folks that *love* liver and onions.

I have to go grocery shopping today so I think I will pick some up along with everything else I need to buy.

Malice Mizer is good
I love music.. i was raised on rock and roll :P I listen to everything from Celtic / Newage to Gothic to Mainstream Pop even rap and country in small doses ... only thing I can't handle is when every other word is a curse word(gee.. that rules out *most* rap doesn't it? LOL)
I love livers but.. umm don't even what to discuss gizzards that are uck! (ever notice people that like livers don't like gizards and vis versa?)
and of course I love this woe
what does that say about me? lol

I love liver and onions (cooked with the onions but I don't actually eat them ) BUT I was shocked at how many CARBS are in liver -- eater-beware!

I happen to like a lot of rap (especially Eminem), but I'm an 80's headbanger at heart.

I think, tho, that what you're getting at is that you don't judge or criticize others for their choices so they should back off on yours (specifically LCing) and I totally agree with you! I've been very fortunate in that I haven't had any family or friends be critical of what I'm doing and if I get a funny look from a co-worker when I say I'm low carbing, I show them how much room I have in my pants now, especially around the waist, and that shuts them up pretty quick I also point out how I'm eating wwwwaaaaayyyy more veggies than I ate before and drinking a lot more water. NO, people, it's not just bacon and butter altho their a great staple of this WOE

I'll eat liver, but only if someone else prepares it . I also LOVE RAP music. Most people who say they hate rap have only listened to whatever is on the top 40. Not everything sounds like 50cent ( although I like 50cent, go shorty....). Artists like Outkast, BEP, Tribe Called Quest, RUN DMC, Beastie Boys, the Roots, Kanye West, K-OS ect all sound very different and can't be lumped together as that "scary rap" music. I personally don't make broad generalizations about genres, especially if I haven't had the chance to listen to a variety of aristist in that genre. Just like I don't make broad generalizations about dieting or lc, especially plans that I haven't really researched.
PS. (I also really like old blue grass, the dobro and steel guitar are magical instrument)

Didn't I read somewhere that Liver has way more carbs than expected, and that organ meat is the best way to contract mad cow? I happen to love liver, bacon and onions, and would love to be set straight on either count because I've been avoiding them since reading or hearing about this.....

Allez Y'All

Becky, listen to the dixie chicks if you want to hear a modern artist using it, and other old blue grass instruments. Emily plays it on many of their trax.

Love liver & onions, brussel sprouts too! Remember the Beatles first performance on Ed Sullivan as well as Bill Cosby's first before anyone knew who he was. Elvis, Chuck Berry, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Tina Turner, Marvin Gaye, Jimi Hendrix, Rolling Stones, Janis, Cream, sigh, and sob, The Doors, Prism, Deep Purple, 10 Years After, "Careful of that Axe Eugene," "of all the things that I have lost, I miss my mind the most," ..........
