i wanted to know who can delete posts. can person X delete their (person X's) post from person Y's thread? can person Y delete person X's post from their (person Y's) thread or journal?

I was only able to edit my own posts so far, when I hit the delete button I get the message that I am accessing a feature that is not available to me. why?

Only moderators/Admin can delete posts . Members may edit only their own posts for up to 48 hrs from the original time of posting.

If there's a message of yours that you'd like to be removed completely, just click on the "report this post to a moderator" within that specific post -- an email will be sent to a moderator who will take care of it for you.
