I'm deffinately in ... I haven't done many challenges and it may be a good boost. So are we racing to the 100 lb loss mark? My starting weight today would be 420.

Ok, I'm a nerd, so I made a spreadsheet if you want to link and look, otherwise we can do the standard thing in the thread. Just report weight in thread, then I can update the spreadsheet when I read thread.

100 lb Challenge Spreadsheet.

Well, if there's a spreadsheet (!) I'm in!

The one thing that scares me about this is that the rest of you are younger and more able to lose rapidly.

I'm starting at 295 pounds, which is not my highest weight.

Hey ya'll,
Can I play? I'm just getting geared up to do this lowcarb thing for life, and I think it's great that there is a group here who are looking to lose lots-o-weight. I'm new to the whole blog/forum world, so please excuse if I'm not doing it right. Please feel free to educate me if you see I have found yet another way to be socially backwards. So, what do you do? Just check in as often as possible and post your weight and journey stuff? I started a journal last night...is that relevant to this page or is that a separate entitiy? Oh, so much to learn.

I'm so impressed with this site. The amount of support and caring shown here is amazing.

Welcome bike2work, gloquilts and especially tijuana. Yes your doing it right. Journal is yours for whatever you want to use it for, then chime into any thread you feel like. I've added names to the spreadsheet and link is above or in my signature.

Yup, I'm up 3 .... more in my journal soon. A TON of salt in diet last couple days, so hopefully mostly water, which going back to strict induction should clear me of.

BTW if anyone has a gmail account I'll share editing of the spreadsheet to you.

i HAD to fight so hard this morning to not get on the scale just because yesterday i really really began to feel the positive effects of the beginning phases of induction. I'm going to wait until thursday though for sure before i get on the scale. That will make it one full week for me. I'm so hype about whats to come that i'm just like.... BRING ITT ONNNN!!!

HI,

Looks like we all are doing great! I managed to lose a few and have lost 32 so far.........I am thrilled I have not lost weight in probably 10 years! I was beginning to think that I was just going to be round forever!

Found this group and am so glad I decided to try the low carb!

I have not used the journal part yet..........do most of you use the journal?

Have a great week!!
Gloria
