I think they are equivalent.
Just surprises me that my Dr does not seem to be concerned at all about weight and how you lose it. Which is good for me since I am determined to stay Low Carb........
All of my blood test are within the " normal " range and she does not care since I still smoke. NEVER got a Congratulations on losing the weight...keep doing what you are doing......
To me both situations....being obese and smoking are detrimental to my health.
But I have lost confidence in my Dr...who appears to be so narrow minded.
I highly doubt that my numbers would be as good as they are if I had stayed over 170lbs but quit smoking.
I think that both are equally as important in regards to health.
But apparently my Dr does not think so.
