Mmmm, Catalina is one of my favourites! Now that Carb Options doesn't have their Sweet Tomato I can make this

Thanks!

one of my childhood favorites was a center-cut ham steak, marinated/basted with Catalina dressing and then grilled (BBQ) until hot through. Yum. I just saw ham steaks on sale this week at one of the grocery stores - we might just have to try them with this dressing

I used this as a base for a BBQ marinade for chuck steaks last week. I subbed balsamic vinegar for the red wine and added some heat and then let the steaks soak in it for 12 hours.....bake or grill.....YUM!!

You can use this in the famous taco salad (omitting the doritos) by mixing with ground beef browned with minced dried onion, a dab of tomato paste, chili powder and cumin and shredded cheese, scallions, black olives and red or green pepper chunks. Toss all together and serve with dollops of sour cream. Pretty tasty...

LOL..

We love this dressing w/ Mexican Salad.

Fresh iceburg mixed w/ romaine, grated carrots, chopped green onions, chopped tomatoes, drained-sliced black olives, drained ranch style beans, & fritos.

You only add the fritos like if they were crutons. So, I still have it bc yer not even havin' half a serving..Just a few.

You drizzel just a lil of the dressing in and toss.

You don't need much bc the beans add so much flavor.

You can also add drained-lean ground beef at the end that has been spiced up with cumin, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and dried cilantro.

I LOVE this dressing. It's got me eating salad again. This is one thing I was always missing, and now I have it back! Thanks for the recipe.
