Talking yay... i'm here =)

hi... ok.. so i'm 29... married.. and have 2 children (oh.. and apparently over use these dots <......>) ha ha ha. oh well... i have been overweight almost forever. at one point i left the country to do missionary work and got down to 165 lbs. (my CURRENT goal weight) anyway, i got married and with my first child i gained everything PLUS back. i started "low-carbing it" and doing tae bo and pilates and lost a good amount of weight... but whoops! here i am again. i was counting calories but this is what has been effective for me. i want to enter 30 at my goal weight... why? mostly because i want to be an example to my children and show them that health is very important. i think that was the farthest thing from my mom's mind. also, i want to be physically appealing to my husband. he is very kind and doesn't say anything to me to make me feel bad... BUT he isn't blind...

so... that's about it... i started in august and have lost 30 lbs... but i can't see any difference. oh well i guess. i think i'm gonna be one of those people to have all kinds of flappy skin like a sharpée which sucks...

... i am excited to have people to be accountable to... hopefully i continue and don't get lazy . k. peace.

I read in one of the Eades books that 6 pounds of fat takes up the space of a gallon milk jug, so just think, you've lost 5 jugs worth!

Welcome! Congrats on the 30#s.

Did you take your measurements before you started? Are your clothes feeling big? Because we look in a mirror everyday we don't notice the change. You are doing great!
