MOMD Day #15

Still sick, no meds, no change in my diet or activity.
Oh well, I changed a few things, such as taking most of the dairy out - and it started dropping again.

Still hanging in there. I haven't lost anything for a couple of days, but I'm not going to worry about it. It's not going back up!! And we ate out this weekend, so I end up with more salt pretty much no matter what you eat.
(steak, carrots, green beans, broccoli, unsweet tea)

Actually, I may have lost some as I haven't weighed myself. My one scale died and gives me a really low number that I know isn't right. )c: I wouldn't lose 10 lbs overnight... Gotta get cell batteries for it. Which is a pain! They write so small on it...

Hang in everyone!!!

I am MoMD Day 4

I'm going to try logging my food in order to get my macros on my fitness pal. It seems to be a pain to get started, but I've put in my 2 breakfast recipes and will keep a log to see where I'm actually at.

MOMD #9! AND I got through the square dancing (yes, more sq dancing - this time our normal Tuesday lesson/session) without nibbling on ANYTHING there. There were plenty of cookies/brownies to be had.

MOMD #17 - and I have a theory about weight gain and illness.

I had a thought last night that even though I didn't change anything while I was sick with a head cold, my body was working that much harder to get over the cold.

My daily calorie goal is 1,400 calories, but what I eat keeps me full most of the time, and I don't always meet my goal. So with my body having to working hard, I might not have been getting enough calories - and for me, too low of calories and I will gain weight.

So I made a point of eating to goal yesterday, and then a little more - while sticking to my WOE - and this morning I lost nearly a pound!

Might only work for me... might never work again... might have been a coincidence. But the only thing I changed was eating more calories yesterday.

Just thought I would throw it out there...

Hey Catherine,

It's all about balancing energy out vs energy in. I think if you go too far either way you run into trouble. Not sure I'd draw conclusions from one day, but I'd sure go hmmmmmm.....

For everyone...

The rest of you are rocking it... keep it going!! I think a rope on the boat you're riding is tied to my leg.. so when y'all hit 20 days, I think I'm on for the ride!!

Mike
