Default hyponatremia

I noticed that some of you drink up to 4 L of water a day. I've always drank a lot of water...but is FOUR LITRES really healthy for the average person? Doesn't it upset the electrolyte balance of potassium, sodium, etc. of your system with this much water. Any informed responses appreciated!
