I'm new to this site and loving all the info I am seeing, would love to have a buddy or two to help keep me on track.

Gail, check first in the Buddy forum. There are already Daily check-in groups and challenges there. Just Jo and friends follow the "hard core" atkins 1972 plan which would be good to help you control diabetes...or maybe daily or monthly weigh-ins.....see if any here meet your needs: http://forum.lowcarber.org/forumdisplay.php?f=106

One more tip..you can tap/click on a user name and see their profile (what books they read, where in their journey) and all previous posts. So as you look at a buddy group, you can read what the members have written before and see some of their weight loss background.

also start a journal. As you meet members thru the above mentioned programs, you can connect via journals too.
