Hi everyone! I am new at this and you all sound like you're doing great!

I also live in a dorm.. I really want to start the Atkins Diet but I think dealing with the dining hall is going to be tough... We have the (usual) salad and sandwich bars, so breakfast and lunch shouldn't be a problem, but entrees at dinner are almost always pasta based, and when meat is served it's usually in some sort of sauce and it's nearly impossible to find out what the sauce is made of. (I go to a really big university, individual questions like that are pretty much ignored...)

Any suggestions/tips? I'd really like to do Atkins the right way.

Do you only have one meal option for dinner? If so, that sucks. Dinner is usually easy here b/c you can get some kind of meat w/ a veggie. So you should complain.
