Default Newbie on the South Beach

hi All,

My name is Affy and I am so glad i came across this wonderful forum with so many great supporters. I was on the south beach diet a few years ago and lots a ton of weight. Well, I didn't maintain it and piled on all the weight back over the last 2 years. Here I am, starting all over again but I realize its high time I took some action. Today is my first day, phase 1. Would love to read any advice, tips etc. I hope i stick to it. i don't want to fail again. take care all. cheers.

Hi Affy and welcome to the SBD section of this web site.

I'll be happy to help you learn to eat this way for life.
I suggest that you start a journal here and use it daily for many different things. One thing I used mine for was to log my food daily for accountability. That helped me to learn to eat this way for life....that was 7 years ago and I have not regained any of my weight...yet! I don't intend to either!!

We have the food lists and meal plan guides here that are in the book, for you to print up and use as reference. They are located in our weekly weighin thread.

I'll be back later with more ideas for you.
