Exclamation Spinach is like a cork...

Help...This is TMI but I am in quite a bit of discomfort. I LOVE spinach and eat it at least 1 time per week. But, between that and my multi-vitamin, I think I am getting too much iron and I am backing up I thought the fiber in spinach would balance out the problem I have with iron, but here lately, it seems when I eat spinach I can't go for 2 or 3 days?
Any suggestions? Flax seed maybe?
TYIA!

Are you taking psyllium husks or any other fiber suppliment? If not definetly start. You don't have to take them everyday if you don't want to, just when you feel ick. You might try aloe juice to as from what someone said it is a laxative. Do you eat alot of red meat? I would cut that iron source down before spinich orother veggies. You might also see if you can find an niron free suppliment, I know GNC sells brands you can get w/o iron.

You might want to re-examine your diet. I'm pretty sure spinach is one of those things you don't want to eliminate from your diet. I've been "regular" since having a spinach salad (or two) every other day. Then again it could just be me.

And congrats on your run today! I can barely run around the block let alone 3 miles. Way to go!

Thanks Tiffany
Yea - I went on a bit of a binge this weekend...but usually after having carbs I don't have this problem - usually, my stomach revolts.
I am going to try cutting back on my cream cheese/cheese intake and eat some extra veggies - see if this helps!
