weight loss with pcos
iv been told that when findin out if u hav lost any weight not to trust the scales cause u can put weight on from muscle etc and to use a tape measure instead as its more accurate or ur loss, but i hav no idea wich parts im meant to be measurin, any one hav any ideas?
Yep, everything. The little successes are nice, especially when the scale isn't moving. I measure once a month - more than that I imagine would be discouraging (won't see a big difference).
I follow both the scale and the measurements. If I feel like I have lots of changes going I would measure everyother week. When it is slower I measure once a month. A scale can be a good guide because if you are dropping you might feel okay about measuring again, and measurements can help you feel okay if the weight nudges up. I like to weigh once a week on the same day. It keeps me honest, I think, both are good tools to use together.
