Others have given you very good advice on on what to/not to eat.

Don't worry at this point about how much you eat (of the right foods). Don't starve yourself. If you're hungry, eat. The important thing in induction is to make the metabolic shift to fat burning. It requires the consumption of a good deal of fat to do so. Enjoy.

Hey Cheryl, oh what gorgeous kids you have!!!!! Aw!! Thanks for saying hi and stuff, you've all kept me going - I am holed up on a farm in England writing my first novel - it's nearly finished and then I can have a life again but I figured if I thought of this trip in the country as a 'bran new me' thing I can go back to the city and feel great about myself, esp at my book launch. :-D

Good luck Charlotte.

Does your weight actually bother you? I saw the opinions of a blind date and a bunch of exes in your post, and a desire to avoid other people's negative opinions of you, but in the long run, it will be easier to navigate bumps in the road if your focus is on yourself and why you're doing this for you, rather than a focus on the approval of other people.

That might have something to do with why you've had difficulty sticking with a healthier diet in the past. Just my 2 cents.
