I think that caffeine has gotten more bad press from more people, with little to no reason, than pretty much any no calorie natural substance known. Some people use WAY too much of it. But "Cut back if you feel shaky, or you are constantly cycling between energetic and exhausted" is entirely different from all this nonsense about its supposed effects on this or that hormone, or metabolic process, when there is ZERO data to back it up.

I hope you are right!! I really don't drink that much caffeine....at least from what I have seen of other people around here... lol

lkelley, all you need to do is go to google scholar, and type in "caffeine and insulin", and you can see for yourself. Or, "caffeine and...whatever".

All those websites that tell you that caffeine, or coffee does all these terrible things, do NOT have data behind them. They have people's pet theories. Nutritional science is such a mixed bag of badly designed studies in the first place, you'd think they could find SOMETHING. But they don't, do they?

They just TELL you.
