Default workout log!

Ok, so now that I've found this site for low carb support, I better start writing down my workout times, to keep track better. I work out twice a day, once at noon on my lunch break at Bally's and once at home after I get off of work.

Since this is my first post, I will write in all my workouts for the week, starting with Monday.

3/8/04
Bally's - eliptical trainer - 25 min.
Home - The Firm - could only do 20 mins cause I was too tired to go on


3/9/04
Bally's - eliptical trainer - 25 min
Home - Tae Bo basic - 20 mins

3/10/04
Bally's - eliptical trainer - 25 min
Home - Tae Bo basic - 20 min


I will report today's workout stuff tomorrow.

Workout for 3/11/04


Bally's - eliptical trainer - 28min
Home - Tae Bo basic- 20 mins

I almost didn't do Tae Bo last night cause I was in a bad mood, but I pushed myself to do it and I feel 100% better today because I know I gave my all yesterday. If I hadn't done it I would feel like I let myself down with my goals for fitness.

Bally's - Eliptical trainer - 25 min


3/13/04
Bally's - Eliptical Trainer - 30 min
Seated Bike - 15 min
Treadmill - 15 min

Usually, I work out for 1 1/2 hours on Saturdays, but for some reason, I just did not feel well and I kept feeling like I was going to get sick if I continued any longer.

Sunday, is my day off. I don't do any workouts because I workout 6 days a week as is.

3/18/04 - Bally's eliptical - 26 mins
10 min - level 10, 10 min - level 5, 5 min - cool down mixed levels + 2
min going in the reverse direction

I'm gonna start putting my level work in as well, so I can keep track of my endurance levels. 10 min at level 10 gets my heart going to 180, so for now I think I will keep it there and not try to get any higher.

3.19.04 - bally's - eliptical 25 min

Didn't go on 3/20 or 3/21. Shame on me!

3.22.04 - bally's - eliptical 25 min (had to force myself to go, because of the two days off, I didn't want to go)

3.23.04- I forgot all my workout stuff at home. I had taken it in the night before to wash it and I left the bag sitting by the door when I left for work. ARGH!!!

3.24.03 - I have my work out stuff today.

Ugh, I've been sick and haven't been able to make it to Bally's in quite some time. My pass expires on the 17th which is only 10 days away. Not sure if I want to join yet or not. Another gym has a special going on, so I might try that. Not really impressed with my local Bally's.

Wow, it's been a while since I posted here. I never did join Bally's. I couldn't see spending that money to join just to use the eliptical trainer. I actually gave up on everything for a while and ended up gaining 15 lbs. So, now I've joined a weight loss center and I bought The Firm Scultping System. I have a love/hate relationship with this system. I love how it works, just hate having to force myself to do it. It's an awsome system. All of The Firm workouts, past and present are awesome. So, I've done my 5th workout so far and I hope to keep up with it. I've even added walking. My plan is to the do the Firm on Mon, Wed & Fri and walk a mile on Tues, Thurs & Sat. Sunday will be rest day. Hopefully, I'll keep telling myself just to do it. I know the first time I don't do it, that's it and it's over.

I did my mile walk lost night. I didn't want to because when I got home from work it was hot and icky out. I didn't want to do anything. But I went home and immediately put on my workout shoes. I know that if I go home and sit down, I'm not getting back up again to work out. So I guess my best bet is to do it right after work, so I get it done and over with. I hope one day I actually enjoy working out and not dread it.

It's been a while since i used this journal. I need to start keeping better track of what I'm doing now-a-days.

Well, to start on Wed & Thurs I did Tae Bo and today I took a mile and a half walk around a lake. So I'm trying to get in some exercise. It's hard, for some reason I just can't force myself to just do it. In school I exercised every day, aerobics, weight training etc.. Now I hate it and can't stand to do it. I've been trying to change my way of thinking though and I tell myself I need to. I have no choice.
