Question Anyone use starch blockers?

Just curious if anyone relies on starch blockers when they fall off the bandwagon and indulge in something naughty? Not that I am considering this...ha, ha.... but curious if others have tried them? thanks in advance! Jennifer

Hi Jen, I used them once - we were going to dinner with a group and I had no control over the menu. I could not really tell if they made a difference because I worked very hard to leave the carbs on the plate from the sea food lasagne they served. I read a posting her somewhere that one of the users did a scientific survey - it seemed to help with the sugars, but not the carbs from things like bread.

Three words...save your money.

If you run a search, especially in the supplements threads, you'll find the majority of people find no real benefits to them.

In my personal experience, all I got for my money was gas.... there is no magic pill.

Never used them, but someone I know does and he says they are garbage and don't work.
